About Us

"Learning and Sharing how to live green."   That's what we're all about.  Medfield Green was formed to help us make more informed and better choices for our families and our environment.  There is so much to learn and share!  And we are having so much fun learning from and teaching each other!  Join us!

A Medfield Green Meeting! To date we have held meetings on Plastics, Lawn Care and Pesticides, Skin Care, Bug Spray and Sunscreen, Healthy Eating/Local Eating, Reducing our Carbon Footprint, ideas to "Green" your holiday, Recycling, Green Cleaning, Composting, Personal Care Products, Water, and Reducing Energy in your home.  In addition we have held movie nights and organized two very successful Medfield Green Days, a one stop reuse event.  In 2011 we are planning meetings on learning about Holistic Health options, making green choices at our local grocery stores, and more! We are excited about our group and would love to have you join us, in person at a meeting, or just via email and the web!  Use the "Contact Us" button to join our e-mailing list and keep up to date with upcoming meetings and events as well as helpful tidbits from other Green friends in Medfield and beyond!

Some History........
We began our group to support each other in learning more about "going green".  Almost immediately we were overwhelmed with interest from our friends and neighbors.  Within a few months we realized that "Green Moms" wasn't a broad enough name as many others (like Dads!) wanted to belong.  So, we have just recently updated from Medfield Green Moms to Medfield Green.  We hope that people that are "all shades of green" join us at our meetings.  Please join our email list to get complete information about upcoming meetings and events.
